Refund policy
At Motorist, we’re a one-stop solution for 2-wheeler products and services—selling quality bike parts and offering professional servicing and installations. If something isn’t right with your order, we’ll make it right.
What’s eligible
We accept returns or exchanges only if:

The product was damaged in transit, or
-
You received the wrong product.
We do not accept returns for change of mind, ordering the wrong size/fitment, or once a part has been installed/used (see “Non-returnable items” below).
Condition of returns
To be eligible, items must be:

Unused and uninstalled, in the same condition you received them
-
With all original tags, accessories and manufacturer packaging intact

Returned with proof of purchase (order confirmation/receipt)
How to start a return

Email us within 48 hours of delivery for damages/incorrect items: support@motoriststore.com.

Include your order number, photos/video of the outer box, shipping label, inner packaging, and the issue.

Wait for our RMA/return approval and instructions.

Ship the item to the address we provide (returns without prior approval will be refused).

If your return is approved, we’ll email you a prepaid return label for eligible cases (damage/our error). In all other cases, returns aren’t accepted.
Exchanges
If stock is available, we’ll send a replacement once the returned item passes inspection. If not, we’ll process a refund.
Refunds
After we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.

Non-returnable items (industry standard)

Installed, mounted, programmed or used parts (including electrical/electronic components once connected)

Consumables (oils, lubes, brake fluid, filters once opened), tools, and wear items after opening/usage

Custom/special-order parts and clearance items

Any item not in its original condition or missing packaging/accessories

Service/installation charges are non-refundable.

If a part installed by Motorist is found defective, we’ll assist with manufacturer warranty handling per the brand’s policy.
Damages & issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if it’s defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item so we can evaluate and resolve it quickly.
